Traning and development
Polimex-Mostostal gives the opportunity to the employees to improve their theoretical and practical knowledge as well as to improve language skills. The company attaches great importance to the professional satisfaction of the employees in the company. Employees have the opportunity to qualify for training and courses appropriate to their positions in the company. From the 1st January 2009 the Company is implementing "Modern standards of Polimex-Mostostal SA management – our asset ", a training project co-financed by the European Union. The project aims to enrich the Company's strategic resources such as managers at different levels, particularly project managers, with the skills to facilitate their management of projects and groups of people. The project will last until the 31st December 2010. In 2009, the training was attended more than 850 participants.
The Company also makes it possible to obtain building licences during a 2 to 3-year-long period of gaining experience at the construction sites managed by Polimex-Mostostal, and co-funds the fees related to the licence obtainment. Polimex-Mostostal also provides an opportunity to complete specialized courses for future assemblers, welders, forklift, manual hoist, crane and platform operators. The company also organizes language courses.
