Polimex-Mostostal is a supplier of complex overhaul and modernization services for professional and industrial power engineering. In providing the services within this scope, mainly through its Z16 – ZREW Plant, it uses nearly 50 years of experience and competence gained during the performance of works on domestic power plants. During the last years, the company has also been providing services to foreign power and heat plants.

Industrial maintenance.

Polimex-Mostostal S.A (ZREW – Z16 Plant) became a leader in providing industrial maintenance services in Poland, developing a network of its branches rendering maintenance services to enterprises. When establishing new maintenance branches we base on overhaul groups created by way of outsourcing from mother companies, or on our own staff.

An important element of the industrial maintenance is data collecting and their multidimensional analysis performed on a regular basis, with respect to technical condition of machinery and equipment, and accessibility of such data to the customer. The company tailors its services within this scope to individual needs of the customer, using the latest technical solutions, including CMMS class program recognized as one of the best world’s programs. 

Polimex-Mostostal has developed its own solutions, the implementation of which contributes to increased technical safety and to optimizing operation maintenance costs. The implemented solutions are universal and effective in each branch of industry. Operating of maintenance branches is tailored to individual requirements and specifics of each customer’s activities.

Industrial maintenance offered by Polimex-Mostostal S.A. consists of assuming responsibility for maintaining technical condition of the machinery, equipment and process lines at constant, determined parametrically levels through:

Manufacturing and overhauls of transformers

Polimex-Mostostal SA (ZREW - Z16 Plant) provides complex services in the scope of manufacturing, modernization and diagnostics of HV and MV power transformers. 

Many years’ experience, solid technical and technological base, highly qualified engineering staff and implemented Integrated Management System based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 standards ensure that the products and services offered by the company are of the highest quality.

ZREW offers moderns power transformers designed and manufactured in compliance with all applicable standards.

Materials and components supplied exclusively from the best world’s manufacturers are used for manufacturing transformers. 

Manufacturing includes:

• power transformers for distribution networks
• unit transformers for Power Plants and Combined Heat and Power Plants, output power up to 90 MVA and voltage up to 123 kV
• dedicated furnace transformers and transformers designed for energizing rectifying systems

Diagnostics and technical inspections

Polimex-Mostostal SA (ZREW - Z16 Plant) performs evaluations of technical condition of machinery and equipment, scope of necessary repair works as well as operating life. The services are performed by well trained personnel having comprehensive, many years' experience and necessary qualification including certificates issued according to EN 473:2000.

Over the last few years, diagnostic service covered more than 1500 units.

Polimex-Mostostal’s laboratory has qualifications of the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) – 2nd degree acknowledgement certificate No. LB-050/27.

For the measurement and tests, we use the highest quality equipment, multi-channel measurement computer systems, diagnostic databases, mobile testing stations. Our customers are domestic and foreign companies from the power sector and other industries.
