Road and Acoustic Barriers

Road and Acoustic Barriers Centre was launched in Ocynkownia Częstochowa in February 2009.
This new organization unit of Polimex – Mostostal S.A. deals with designing, manufacturing, distribution and assembly of protective and acoustic barriers.

All steel constructional elements are protected from corrosion by hot dip galvanizing according to PN-EN ISO 1461 norm. This is a guaranty of keeping a long life and high aesthetics during the life period.

Our offer includes:

1. Protective road and bridge barriers and rail road barriers – used in places where crossing by a vehicle beyond the road edge or divisive zone endangers the safety of driver, passenger or other road users.
Rail road and bridge barriers protect also a road user against falling from the bridge object.
All barrier systems produced in Road and Acoustic Barriers Centre own the European Certificate of Accordance compliant with PN-EN 1317 norm (CE).

2. Acoustic barriers are mostly used as acoustic protection for limiting the influence of communication noise on the environment. Allowing of the acoustic properties, there are two types of acoustic barriers: sound-proof and sound-isolated barriers. The acoustic barriers own the Technical Approbation no. AT/2009-03-2546 edited by Road and Bridge Research Institute.
Road acoustic panels type “green wall” measure up the highest requirements in sound absorption according to norms:

PN-EN 20354:2205 and PN-EN 1793-3  class A4,

and also in acoustic isolation according to norms:

PN-EN ISO 717-1 and PN-EN 1793-2  class B3.
